Art is Everywhere is an annual waste-to-art recycling workshop seeking to open up the creative minds of young artists to the endless possibilities in their immediate environment, provide an avenue to train artists and the less privileged in the society on how to make a living from recycling, to generate exchanges between local artists and artists from other countries and to highlight environmental degradation. Art is Everywhere workshop has been held 7 times at various locations including Enugu, Jos, Kaduna and Abuja.
Art is Everywhere 8 waste-to-art workshop is scheduled to hold at the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu. The workshop is planned as one of the events of Afrika Heritage, the Biennale of the Pan African Circle of Artists (PACA).
About 30 participants and resource persons will be participating at the workshop which will be focusing on Mixed Media and Fashion Accessories, Installations, Metal and Wood and Paper Recycling. Participation is open to artists under 35 years of age.
